Theory #2 Doug Batchelor
This is the chart put
out by Amazing Facts Although there are countless smaller ministries on the internet teaching various end time theories on the 1335 day prophecy there are three main ministries who are teaching a future version of the 1335 days. 1. Marion Berry 2. Doug Batchelor's (Amazing Facts) 3. Mine (The Loud Cry Ministry) Doug Bachelor's version and mine are virtually identical, with only one exception. I do not believe the 1335 day prophecy sets a date for the close of probation and and according to Doug Batchelor's time chart put out by Amazing Facts, he does. Other than that we are pretty much in agreement. If you would like to hear Doug Bachelor's sermon on the 1335 day prophecy click the link below. Allow me to go on record and say that Doug and I arrived at our conclusions completely independently of each other. We both began to teach a future application of this prophecy at about the same time. The first time Doug made his understanding public was during Net 99 out of New York city. In Doug's chart he lists the close of probation happening on day 1290, whereas on my chart I list it as happening on an unknown day between day 1290 and day 1335. On Doug's chart he lists the first resurrection as happening on day 1335. That is the same as saying that the Second coming occurs on day 1335. For reason's already discussed under theory # 1 that simply won't work. At this point I am going to make a statement that I hope everyone can appreciate. This prophecy is a "work in progress." NO ONE is an expert on it to the point where they can say beyond any doubt exactly what it means. That means we can ALL continue to study it and share our discoveries, and perhaps together we can all help each other by God's grace to arrive at the truth. |

Theory # 3 A Theory from a Random Website
First I want to say bravo! This theory places the dates in the right order! 1260, 1290 and 1335. That is a good start. In both the historic view's chart and in Marion Berry's theory, the times of the 1260, 1290 and 1335 are viewed as three separate timelines given in a mixed up order. However this theory makes the prophecy of Daniel 12:7-12, one long time line with three major dates within it.After all that is exactly what happens in the 70 week prophecy and the 2300 day prophecy. Notice that these prophecies all belong on the SAME timeline, and that the dates given in these prophecies point out specific events that were to happen along that ONE timeline.
Problems with this theory 1. Once again we have another theory which attempts to give a time for the second coming. Once the national Sunday law is enforced we would be able to count down the days to the second coming. That conflicts with other known facts that we discussed during the Marion Berry's theory. 2. The internet ministry I got this image from is trying to put a date on the close of probation. According to the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy that is IMPOSSIBLE. There is no Biblical grounds for placing the events where they are in this chart. It appears that the author of this theory had a knowledge of end times and stuck a few things where it seemed to make sense to him. This is not good hermeneutics. This is taking a "Blind Guess" at this prophecy, taking "A Stab in the Dark," hoping to get the order just right. All of this is done with out the slightest biblical support. Does Daniel 12:11 say that there is a special resurrection at the end of the 1290 days? No! I am sorry it does not. This is a prime example of a private interpretation. Although there are other theories on the net, I think these examples will help you sift out the good ones from the bad. Basically make sure every event and where it is placed is supported 100% in the Bible. Theories that place events where they seem to make sense or that are solely based on the Spirit of Prophecy are not good enough. The Spirit of Prophecy is a good guide, and is at times helpful in pointing in the right direction, but the Bible is it's own expositor and explainer of it's own prophecies. There are NO exceptions to this rule, Period! |
