Examining End Time Theories of the 1335 Day Prophecy By: David M. It is IMPOSSIBLE to arrive at her conclusions using the BIBLE alone." A brief intro: Marion Berry is a deep thinking profound researcher of Bible prophecy and Spirit of Prophecy writings, and she is a sweet sincere Christian lady. I know because I have met her. I have attended her seminar, and own all of her books. But her teachings about the 1335 day prophecy in her book, "Warning" are error. It is a complex interpretation TOTALLY RELYING on a pre-arranged sequence of events that she has compiled from the Spirit of Prophecy. I know of respectable doctors and pastors who have adopted her teachings. However there is something you should be aware of. If I were a man living in a third world country and was fortunate enough to have a Bible, then chances are I would NOT have a computer with all of E G Whites writings on it. Using only a bible I could never arrive at Marion Berry's timelines for the 1335 day prophecy. It is IMPOSSIBLE to arrive at her conclusions using the BIBLE alone. That is reason enough to reject her conclusions. However we need to examine why her conclusions simply do not work. Problems with this theory 1. If this chart were accurate we would know the day of Christ coming as soon as the National Sunday Law is enforced. However we will not know the Day and Hour of Jesus Coming UNTIL God's voice is heard giving us this information.           "The voice of God is heard from Heaven, declaring the day and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivering the everlasting covenant to his people. Like peals of loudest thunder, his words roll through the earth. The Israel of God stand listening, with their eyes fixed upward."  Great Controversy p. 640.         The Lord does not announce the day and the hour until probation is closed. The wicked are surprised at the second coming, the righteous are not surprised!         1 Thessalonians  5:4   But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 2. This theory is confusing! The most complex Bible prophecy should be teachable to a child. This conclusion requires a week long seminar and hundreds of Spirit of Prophecy quotes to arrive at. 3. It is IMPOSSIBLE to teach this theory from the Bible alone! 4. Just like the historic view, Marion Berry here is teaching a different sequence of events than is found in the Bible. Sister Berry rearranges the order of the 1260 1290 and the 1335 from the order given in Bible. The Bible gives this order. 1. 1260 (Dan 12 v. 7) 2. 1290 (Dan 12 v. 11) 3. 1335 (Dan 12 v. 12) Marion Berry gives a different order than the Bible gives. 1. 1335 2. 1260 3. 1290 The BIBLE DOES NOT ALLOW this arrangement. See for your self. Daniel 12:11-12 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. According to Marion Berry the 1335 days end 15 DAYS BEFORE the 1290 days end. How can anyone WAIT for the 1335 days if they are already ended? The Bottom Line: Marion Berry's seminar is beneficial for learning end time events, because her teachings on the last days are good, but her time lines are not biblical. Unfortunately, as much as she preaches that we need to use proper Hermeneutics, she is found not following them herself. Note: The EVENTS she teaches are real events that really will happen. 100% of the S O P quotes she uses in her seminar and books are going to happen just the way the quotes read. The voice of God will speak, and the earth will quake etc. However her timelines are wrong. She identifies the 7 times God will speak at the end of time, and uses them to start and end the times in her charts. If I wanted to I could rearrange the 7 times God speaks with in these time lines in numerous ways. Regardless, my advice is to not throw the baby out with the bath water. The events she teaches are truth, but the timelines she teaches are not.
