ALL 10
virgins slept. What does this mean? Are the
virgins in a "Saved" condition as they sleep, or
are they in a "lost" condition?
This spiritual sleep that ALL 10
virgins experience is SPIRITUAL DEATH, in other
words they lack a saving relationship with
Jesus. 5 are too proud to recognize it. Only 5
will awaken when they learn their true condition
and trim their lamps (confessing and repenting
of their sins) making them shine with light.
Wherefore he saith,
Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the
dead, and Christ
shall give thee light. Ephesians 5:14
Brother's and Sister's there are only two sides.
Christ -v- Satan
Light -v- Darkness
Either we are
actively walking in the light or we are
dwelling in darkness.
Christ said if we are not with Him we are
AGAINST Him.
So tell me? Are the SLEEPING Virgins FOR Christ
or AGAINST Him?
Really now! What do you think?
They may not be OPENLY against Him? Oh No! In
fact they are convinced they are genuine
Christians. All ten were "virgins" right? That
is the very definition of the Laodicea Church.
We think we are rich, increased with goods and
have need of nothing.
What causes this self delusion? How did we
become lukewarm?
Imagine with me a gallon of boiling hot water
and a gallon of cold water just above the point
of freezing. Mix them together and what do you
have? You are left with lukewarm water of
course.
The hot water = OBEDIENCE
The cold water = DISOBEDIENCE

Ruins of Laodicea
Laodicea mixes
obedience and disobedience. They think God puts
them in balances and that their good works will
out weigh their bad deeds. This is not how it
works. The Pharisee praised his own works and
conveniently forgot about all his bad deeds,
while condemning the evil deeds of others. This
Pharisee thought he was perfectly righteous
before God when he really was a lost man. If you
are living a obedient / disobedient life, it is
what the Bible calls double mindedness.
“He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. For let not
that man think that he shall receive any thing
of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in
all his ways.” James 1:6-8.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he
will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Matthew 6:24
